| 25 get employment on fake certificates in PHE Baramulla | | |

Having genuine academic certificates is not essential for getting employment in PHE Baramulla division as recently about twenty five persons have been appointed there allegedly on fake certificates.
All twenty five newly appointment persons are reportedly from Trikanjan Binali area of Baramulla.
Sources disclosed that the authorities have recently appointed 25 persons as plumbers on fake academic certificates. “Moreover, they do not possess ITI Plumber certificate which is basic eligibility for the post”, sources added.
“One Mohd Din Gujjar in connivance with two other persons who are employees of Public health Engineering Department have allegedly taken a hefty amount from the candidates,” one aspirant for the post Nazir Ahmad Sheikh said alleging that the appointees have produced fake certificates and they are not even ITI trained.
Interestingly, while the government is claiming to institutionalize recruitment in government departments such back door appointments on behest of some from corridors of power are being facilitated thus depriving the genuine candidates to get their due.
“I have undergone ITI training in the year 1996 but the height of things is that one candidate who even is not 5th pass have managed his appointment as plumber by producing fake certificate.” Alleged another aspirant, Mohd Syed.
Sources said that the appointees have managed fake certificates from Bijhama high school and even without technical qualification the candidates were appointed after they allegedly paid a hand some amount to the brokers.
When contacted, minister for Public Health Engineering Dilawar Mir, was not available for comments. |
