JAMMU, Sep 30:The meeting of Sainik Colony Dusshera Celebration Committee, held
toady at Sainik Colony, Jammu, to discuss the arrangements for
Dusshera celebrations.
The meeting which held under the chairmanship of SD Sharma, Bharat
Singh Jamwal Gen Secretary unanimously resolved that the Dusshera-2011
will be celebrated at the Sainik Public School, Sainik Colony, Jammu
on October 6 2011. The Committee has decided to celebrate Dusshera in
a big way and is being organized by the Sainik Colony and its
surrounding area like Chowadi, Thangar, Sunjwan, Ratnuchak, Kaluchak,
Birpur, Channi Himmat, Greater Kailash, Deeli and other peripheries of
the area. .
The meeting also decided to approach the District Magistrate, Jammu,
to make sufficient arrangements of Police and other law and order
machinery to maintain law and order, direct the fire services,
municipal authorities in addition to the Lime Spray and general
cleanliness, sprinkling of water in the School ground, 2 tankers of
water for drinking purposes, Director Health Services to provide
Ambulance etc, as per the past practice.
