| Tragedy Averted on Baramulla Srinagar Road | | |

Police averted tragedy today after it destroyed an IED on planted by militants on Srinagar-Baramulla Road.
Police sources News Agency of Kashmir, that an IED fixed in ‘Ghee Tin’ was detected by Jawans of 55 Bn. of Border Security Forces, near Biscuit factory on National Highway.
A Bomb Disposal Squad of the Jammu and Kashmir Police rushed to the spot. The IED which was planted between Sangrama and Delha was destroyed. Sources said adding no loss of life was reported.
Meanwhile, on specific information Nishat police raided the house of one Fayaz Ahmad Gojri son of Mohd Ismail resident of Danpora Nishat and after conducting search of the house Police searched the cow shed of Fayaz and recovered 50 rounds of AK-47 and one Mobile Set. The owner Fayaz Ahmad has been arrested, Sources added. |
