| CM relives his constituency representative | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, Oct 1 (KNS): State government on Saturday issued a circular asking all the district officers of Chief Minister’s Ganderbal constituency not to entertain any request from CM’s representative of the constituency Mohammad Yosuf Bhat on behalf of the CM.
The circular has been issued in the wake of alleged custodial death of a senior party worker Sayeed Mohmmad Yousuf in Crime Branch custody.
The Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal Showkat Ahmad Mir on Saturday issued a circular. “As instructed by the chief minister vide communication number HCM/PS/2011-292/Sgr, dated 30-09-2011, it is brought to the notice of all district officers that Yousuf Bhat shall seize to be the constituency representative of the chief minister in Ganderbal constituency,” it reads.
The circular has directed all the officials of Ganderbal district not to entertain any request from Bhat on behalf of the Chief Minister.
Sources told KNS the chief minister has left for Karnataka to attend the wedding ceremony of daughter of Jammu and Kashmir High Court Chief Justice.
