| Tarigami for thorough probe in Yousuf’s ‘custodial’ death | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, Oct 1: State Secretary of CPI (M) and MLA Kulgam M Y Tarigami has demanded thorough probe into the death of senior National Conference worker Sayeed Mohmmad Yousuf who allegedly died in Crime Branch custody yesterday.
“Chief Minister Omar Abdullah should see all the aspects of the case. He should see why this happened. Whosoever is involved in the crime must be punished,” Tarigami told KNS.
He said that custodial killing wasn’t acceptable to any human being. “No civilized society can tolerate such acts. It is highly condemnable and those who are involved in it must be given exemplary punishment,” Tarigami demanded.
