Veteran broadcaster Sahi retires

EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 01: Veteran broadcaster, Khusbaash Singh Sahi, who worked as Programme Executive at Radio Kashmir Jammu, retired today after rendering 34 years of service with Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

During his unblemished service spanning over three decades, Sahi worked in different capacities like Library Incharge, Duty and Transmission Officer and Dogri music section incharge.

During 2004 to 2009, he also served as head of programmes at All India Radio, Poonch.
An ex-serviceman, Sahi had also worked in Indian Navy from 1969 to 1975 where he was decorated with awards like Sangram medal and Paschmi Star.

At a farewell function held at Radio Kashmir Jammu today, his colleagues appreciated his qualities of head and heart.
