World KP Youth conference to be held in Dec | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Oct 1:Displaced Kashmiri Pandit Youth from all over the world will assemble in Pune on December 17 and 18 for 1st World Kashmiri Pandit Youth Conference. The conference will be held under the aegis of Panun Kashmir, which has earlier been instrumental in consolidating the displaced Kashmiri Pandits’ voice through immensely successful three World Kashmiri Pandit Conferences and the 1st All India Kashmiri Pandit Women Conference held in Jammu. It is expected that around 1500 delegates will be attending the conference. The proposed first world conference will address the problems and challenges the exile and exodus has presented to KP youth. The objective of conference will be consolidation of resolve of youth in diaspora for achieving the desired goals for the community in general and youth in particular. Rahul Koul of Pune chapter was nominated as Co-ordinator for the Ist World Kashmiri Pandit Youth Conference. These details were announced by Dr Agnishekhar, Convener, Panun Kashmir at the end of two day Youth 4 Panun Kashmir workshop held in Delhi. The workshop was conducted by senior leaders of Panun Kashmir with many presentations made by the young activists who had converged in Delhi from all across the country. Speaking during one of the sessions, Dr Agnishekhar termed the work shop as a historic moment in the struggle of Panun Kashmir. He further said it was a proud moment for the Homeland movement to see such a large number of young persons coming forward to intensify our struggle for a separate Homeland in Kashmir. The workshop was physically attended by 18 youth coordinators of Panun Kashmir from South Zone, North Zone, West Zone, Delhi NCR and Rest of India physically and 5 Continental Youth Coordinator of North America, Latin America, EMEA, Asia Pacific and Gulf joined the work shop through video conferencing.
