| Driving cadre inaugurated | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, October 1: Driving Cadre was inaugurated by Officiating Second in Command on behalf of Commanding Officer 61 Rashtriya Rifles at District Reasi.
In order to provide basic vocational training for furthering career prospects of youth, Rashtriya Rifles battalion at Sarh, Tehsil Mahore, Dist Reasi under the aegis of Rashtriya Rifles garrison at Mahore has commenced a driving training cadre at Talwara from September 27 to Ocober 16.
Twenty youth who were selected from the villages of Sarh, Tuksan, Shajru, Saldahar and Batoi,Gool, Gulbargh showed enthusiasm in learning the skills.
A large number of locals attended the function. The locals of the area were very appreciative of this gesture which, in turn, will go a long way in strengthening the bond between the AWAM and Security Forces.
A team of qualified instructors will impart training to the candidates. Driving licenses will be provided to the youth after conduct of driving test, which will ensure future employability of the participants.
