| Hassya Vayang Pratiyogita organised at Katra | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 2: Hassa Vayang Manch in collaboration with Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board Katra, JK Tourism, Municipal Council Katra organized Hassya Vayang Pratiyogita at Katra.
The event was managed by Nirvana Academy Cultural Group.
Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Pandu Rang K Pole was the chief guest and inaugurated the three day laughter show with the lightening of lamp followed by the aarti of Mata Vaishno Devi.
Hassya Vayang Pratiyogita is a popular event during Navratra Festival in which participants from different parts of India participated.
This year 20 participants from different cities and states participated in the event.
A nine years old comedian Anvi Sharma enthralled the audience with her performance followed by the
brilliant performances of Sanjeev Atri from Punjab and Yaseen Ali from Kanpur. Dr. Chander Mohan, Jagdish Mehra and Mohan Lal Mohan adjudged the participants.
Fourteen participants were selected for the semifinals. Consolation prizes were distributed to the disqualified participants by Gopal Padha President Hassya Vayang Manch, Dharun Kesar General Secretary HVM and Hitesh Badyal president Nirvana Academy.
Others who shared the stage were Puneet Badyal, Parveen Sharma, Raja Bharti, Ravi Naag, Nitan Sharma, Nikki Ram, Munish Bali, Deepu Padha. DK hosted the show.
