| Bhan urges Rahul to lead country | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, Oct 2 (KNS): Senior Congress leader and eminent lawyer Ashok Bhan has urged Rahul Gandhi to take the lead of the country ‘in the real sense.
“The present management of the government and the party has run out of ideas resulting in deep frustration, despair and hate for the government due to the steep price rise, corruption, internal drift and dismal internal security situation in the country,” Bhan said while speaking to the members of various, Bar associations of Delhi on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.
He said Rahul’s political abilities were reflected through his sensibilities towards the peoples’ sufferings. “Down trodden citizens, farmers, victims of human rights abuse, poverty, corruption, ethnic cleansing, communalism, problems of North Eastern region, J&K State and above all the youth of country have great hopes on Rahul,” Bhan added.
He said that wherever Rahul interacts with suffering masses he instantly strikes a personal cord. “This demonstrates his abilities of head and heart. These traits are linked to his rich legacy and ancestry rooted in the Valley,” he added.
