Over 20,000 devotees pay obeisance on 5th navratra : Cave Shrine Pingla

RAMNAGAR, OCTOBER 02, 2011:- With over 60,000 pilgrims from within and outside the state visited the holy Cave Shrine of Pingla Mata situated on a scenic hilltop at village Pinger of tehsil Ramnagar of district Uhampur during the first five Navratras.
On the fifth Navrtara today about 20000 pilgrims visited the holy cave for seeking the blessings of Mata Pingla Devi where a mega festival has been organized to attract the devotees. The festival has been organized by the Akhand Jyoti Committee, (AJC) Ramnagar.
It is worthwhile to mention here that the Tehsil Administration has made elaborate arrangements of security, drinking water, power supply, sanitation and Medicare facilities for the visiting pilgrims.
Besides this, enroute to the Mata Pingla Devi Cave shrine various social organizations have organized free langer for the convenience of yatries which include Katra Association, Kharaka Brothers and Ramnagar Youth Association.
