| Healthy baby show organised at Udhampur | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 2: On first day of Bharat Nirman Public Information Campaign organized by Press Information Bureau, field publicity unit of DFP Udhampur organized a Healthy Baby show to promote concept of mother and child health care.
They also talked at length about various components of NRHM as incorporated in one of the flagship programmes of central government. Babies namely Sharvan Kumar, Gourav, Radhika and Shiv Kumar were adjudged the best three healthy babies in order of merit.
About 60 babies in the age group of 0-5 year along with their mothers participated in the competition. Programme was organized in-coordination with ICDS and Health & Family Welfare Department. Dr. S K Suresh, Child Specialist headed the team of experts in examining the children for the competition.
Prizes were distributed among the winners by Member Parliament (MP) Choudhary Lal Singh, MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia, District Development Commissioner (DDC) Basheer Ahmad Khan on the inaugural day of three day Public Information Campaign.
