DISHA group spends day with elders

JAMMU, Oct 2: AWSC in coordination with DISHA, a musical group of young musicians dedicated to give direction to youth through healthy entertainment spent an evening with inmates of Old Age Home, Ambphala on World Elders Day.
Inmates of the Vridh Ashram and the members of the AWSC enjoyed the music and entertaining Bhajans by DISHA for over one hour. Inmates and senior citizens were also made to recite Bhajans by the musical group headed by Sumit Sharma to make program more exciting and interesting for elders.
Entertainment Program concluded with the recital of a Gurbani Shabad by Prof. Harmit Kaur followed by refreshment for all those who participated in the program. AWSC members including HB Khajuria (CE rtd), VN Sharma (CE rtd), Prem K Gupta(IGP rtd), J.S.Suden (SE Rtd), KK Mahajan, BM Kohli, Prof. Suresh Gupta, Jagdish Chander, OS Wazir, Janak Raj and Krishan Lal Gupta interacted with the inmates and made a donation of Rs 5,100 to the Ashram.
