| Rajouri accident Minor among 2 killed, 9 injured | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 2: A minor including two passengers were killed while nine others were critically injured in a tragic road accident that took place in Rajouri district of Jammu region on Sunday morning.
A Tempo Traveller (JK11-3117) carrying passengers from Darhal to Rajouri town collided with a car coming from opposite side at Ramzani Morh. Incident took place at around 10 am, a police source said, adding in the head on collision Tempo Traveller skidded off the road. Two passengers of Tempo Traveller, including mother and daughter duo, died on the spot while nine others received serious injuries.
Identification of the deceased has been established as Safina Kousar (30) wife of Mohammed Asgar and her daughter Asia Asger (1/12), residents of Darhal. All the injured, were rushed to district hospital for treatment, from where three critical injured including Maqsood Malik son of Mohammed Din, Pappy Malik son of Barkat Hussain, and Mohammed Iqbal Malik son of Hussain Mohammed all the residents of Budhal in Rajouri were rushed to the GMC hospital for advanced treatment. A case in this has been registered by police and further investigation was in progress. |
