| ‘Farmers should avail benefits from CMS Ltd’ | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, October 3: The Chairman, Cooperative Marketing Society Ltd of Kathua, Karan Singh addressed the large gathering of farmers a village Chamba-da-Bag and stressed upon the farmers get the full use and benefits of the services of the society at any time.
While speaking on the occasion he urged the farmer community to force the dealers fertilizers of their respective areas to deposit the amount in the office of the society in order to release the fertilizers so as to manage their farms for forthcoming winter crops.
He said that the society has purchased 9180 quintal DAP and UREA 8460 quintal and out of which DAP 8959 quintal and UREA 8248 quintal distributed among the farmers of the Nagari, Muthi Jagir,, Jakhabar, Pali Morh, Logate Rajbag, Kathera Changran and etc. and large quantity of the fertilizers are still lying available with the society.
He also exerted upon the farmers to get constant and regular interaction with the office of the society in order to make effective way for the development of the agriculture sector of the Kathua
. In the meeting Rajinder Singh, Jagbir Singh (Goga), Deewan Chand, Talap Singh, Natha Singh, Daljeet Singh Ajeet Sing and others were also present.
