| Guest lecturers organized at IIPS | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, October 3: Everonn’s-IIPS Jammu organized a Guest Lecture. The speakers on the occasion were Zeenaz Elizabeth Geelani and Fiona Geelani, both working as Assistant Professors in the School of Business Studies at Islamic University of Science and Technology, Kashmir.
In the first session, Zeenaz Geelani deliberated on the International Financial systems and elaborated on the economic crisis and ensuing recessionary conditions. Her lucid style made the concepts very clear and interesting. The session was highly interactive wherein the students asked many questions related to the financial services, scope for specialization in Finance & also cleared up their conceptual doubts.
The second session was taken by Fiona Geelani who spoke on leadership skills and the essentials of being a leader. She gave an insight into related concepts like cultural and spiritual intelligence and emotional intelligence. Her highly engaging session was appreciated by all as leadership is one of the traits required for success.
Speaking on the occasion, Campus Head, Dr. K K Sabharwal said that IIPS always takes initiative to provide its students with extra knowledge apart from classroom studies so as to groom their personality and to shape them into successful mangers of future. The students highly admired the sessions.
