| Jagti tenement committee holds meeting, resents power curtailment | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 3: A meeting of the members and office bearers of Tenement Committee Jagti Nagrota was held here today under the chairmanship of chairman of the committee B.L. Raina. The meeting was also attended by various camp inmates.
Various issues were discussed in threadbare. While addressing the participants Vice Chairman of the Committee Piray Lal Thusoo expressed his grave concern over the unscheduled prolonged power curtailments in Jagti Migrant camp. He said that students are the worst sufferers due to prolonged and unscheduled power curtailments. He added that aged and infirm also suffer due to prolonged power curtailments.
Advisor Roshan Lal Thusoo, while addressing said that the apex committee has ruined cause of he Kashmiri Pandit Migrants. He appealed the government to declare this Apex committee null and void. President of the Jagti Tenement Committee S.L. Pandita while speaking in the meeting said that the Hr. Secondary School Jagti Migrant Camp is lacking Commerce, Hindi, and Sociology faculty which has made the students of these streams to suffer hard.
Ravi Zutshi, Rajinder Dhar, Youth President of the Committee alongwith Chand Ji, Sanjay Ji, Sanjay Koul, Sunil Pandita, Sameer Pandita, Vinod Tickoo, Brij Nath Thusoo, Makhan Lal Pandita, Ram Ji Bhat, Bushan Lal Bhat, besides about 500 social workers attended the meeting
