KPs accuse J&K govt of loot, plunder | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 3: Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) today said that government has failed to rehabilitate Kashmir Pandit migrants in the valley and infact, looted government of India on the name of relief and rehabilitation of migrants. This was stated in a handout issued after an urgent meeting of Soan Kashmir Front concluded. The meeting was convened today under the Presidentship of Shadi Lal Pandita - President of the front to discuss problems of KP migrants. While addressing the meeting, the leaders said that government has failed to do justice to the rehabilitation cause of the KP Migrants. They have demanded that overage youth of KP migrant community, who are the worst sufferers, may be paid compensation of Rs. 20 Lakhs each which would enable them to earn a living. The steep hike in the market demands the enhancement of cash assistance to Migrant families and the same may please be enhanced from present Rs. 5000 per month per family to Rs. 15000 per month per family. Meting also demanded a special recruitment package of the KP Migrant Youth in JK Police and appealed the Director General of Police J&K to initiate the same urgently so that KP Migrants youth get a relief.
