| Gandhi Jayanti celebrated | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 3: An impressive function was organized at Government Hari Singh Higher Secondary School Idgah Road, Jammu.
A large number of students participated in the function to commemorate celebration of Gandhi Jayanti. Principal of Govt. Hari Singh Higher Secondary, Jammu Suresh Chander Verma and Associate NCC Officer of Govt. Hari Singh H.S.S, Jammu Govind Sharma presided over and inaugurated the colour full function with lightening of lamps and they too paid floral tributes to the father of nation "Mahatma Gandhi Ji”
The school is going to organize a week long celebrations of Gandhi Jayanti in which Quiz, Debate, Painting competition and in the end a peace procession would be held. All the staff members including lecturers, masters, NCC cadets and large no. students participated in this function on Gandhi Jayanti. In the end, the students and the NCC cadets of junior division of Govt. Hari Singh H.S.S, Jammu sang the National Anthem.
