| JKTF organises conference, discusses various issues | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, Oct 3:A day long conference of Jammu and Kashmir Teachers’ Forum (JKTF) held at Kathua under the chairmanship of state Gen Secy Ganesh Khajuria. All the teachers and office bearers of JKTF of different Zones of Kathua attended the conference.
The conference was held in two sessions, in the first session different Zonal level bodies were constituted for which elections were held.
Twenty members zonal body was constituted for Zones Lakhanpur, Kathua, Billawar and Malhar.
District body was also re-constituted with the nomination of Yog Raj Singh as vice president,
In second session teachers expressed their views and passed a unanimous resolution addressed to Chief Minister submitted through Deputy Commissioner Kathua on various demands of teachers which include, DPC of masters, teachers and lecturers, exemption of lecturers, masters and teachers from performing other duties of revenue, election and other departments, taking JKTF and other teachers unions into confidence.
