60-year-old for questioning | Delhi HC Blast NIA arrest | | Asif Iqbal Naik kishtwar, Oct 3: The National Investigating Agency (NIA) took into custody 60-year-old Fateh Muhammad alias Chacha of Pinjrari Dachan to questioning Sunday. Fateh Mohammad @Chacha was arrested by Kishtwar police on 5-12-2010 for his alleged link with banned militant outfit Hizbul Mujahdeen. After spending nearly 8 months in jail, Fateh Mohammad was released from Kishtwar jail only few before the Delhi blast took place. The name of the Fateh Mohammad reportedly surfaced after interrogation of Azhar Ali Butt by NIA salutes in Kotbalwal jail in Jammu. The NIA team which is still camping at Kishtwar is looking for the persons to whom Azhar Ali provided SIM cards on fake documents. Among those fake SIM cards, Azhar mooted most of them through Fateh Mohammad since Azhar Ali had no direct approach to top militant commanders of HM except Amir Kamal@Akram who is said to be the close of Azhar Ali Butt. It was Amir Kamal who lured Azhar Ali Butt into militancy. Reports said that on the discloser of Azhar Ali, NIA detained two person including Fateh Mohammad for questioning and NIA is likely to seek police remand of Fateh Mohammad in FIR No:238 registered at police station Kishtwar. NIA also intends to amend FIR 238 before seeking remand of Fateh Mohammad. Reports said that the NIA has also sought help of local police for interrogating Fatteh Mohammad since he is unable to speak in Hindi or Urdu. NIA believes that Fateh Mohammad role is vital as far as identification of culprits behind the Delhi blast is considered even though Fateh Mohammad has no direct role in execution of blast outside Delhi High court. |
