| 5 days painting workshop held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kathua/October 4:- A 5 day work shop on culture and panting was organized by Vishwya Sathaaliya Social Organization here in PHE guest house at Basohli in which around 32 children all over the Kathua district took participation.
Society, to make children able to learn more on painting and other cultural activities, invited the eminent painters from neighbouring states including Vijay Sharma from Himachal Pradesh, Nathu Ram from Rajasthan and Doctor OP Sharma from Jammu . President of the society, Aman Sharma, speaking to the reporters, said that this was a great opportunity for children to express their talents and discover new interests. He said that the presence of senior artists was helpful for young participants, as they shared their knowledge of art, its nuances, aesthetics and cultural traditions associated with it. The participants discussed the importance of inclusion and the role of culture institutions in that regard. From the workshop the message was sent to all artists in the state to start making projects where children and youth will be involved, he said.
