| BSP opposes adjustments of female masters to far flung areas | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 4:Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has strongly opposed the haphazardly made adjustments of the newly promoted female masters.
According to a press handout released here today, the BSP said that as per policy of transfers in education department, it should be completed in the vacations. Director School Education Jammu accorded promotions and initiated the process of posting of newly promoted masters inc1uding more than 140 female masters, in summer vacations and till date the process is not completed.
CEO took three months for further adjustments and he made the adjustments now in such a way that most of the lady masters fwd place in remote and far flunged areas. There is a hue and cry and anxiety among the masters most of whom are above fifty years of age and have health problems.
The female masters have been allotted to CEO Reasi despite the fact that sufficient posts are available in Jammu and Kathua districts.
Such dictatorial move in a democratized set up is unacceptable. BSP appeals state govt to recall all the female masters and adjust them in the districts of Jammu and Kathua or at approachable places in district Reasi keeping in view the humanitarian values.
If they are not adjusted in suitable places, BSP will be compelled to drag the Directorate of School Education to Accountability Commission
