| NSF stage protest demonstration against COE | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, October 4: Agitated over the lack of response from the Controller of Examination, Prof. G M Bhatt, and OSD Non-Professional on the issue of non-declaration of results of the different Department of Jammu University.
Large number of NSF activists shouting slogans against the Controller of Examination and OSD Non-Professional. They also criticized the JU for delay in Re-evaluation results of BA, B.Com, and BSc part-II.
NSF then stage protest demonstion against COE for none functioning of examination Wing as it has not come up with the result of exams which were held 5 months back.
In this occasion Chairman District NSF Surjit Choudhary who led the students with other NSF activists alleged that the students would not be able to concentrate their studies because of the delay.
He said that every department has started internal assessment of 1st and 3th semester but till today the result of 90% department delay and students of these departments who are waiting for 2nd and 4th semester result.
Choudhary further said that exams of MA, Mathematic,Hindi and English were held in the month of Nov-Dec but so far the examination Wing has failed in coming with the result. He said that university is implementing the academic calendar but has failed in declaring the result as per the calendar.
He said that Controller Examination wing has also not taken any step in coming up with this problem. He added that date sheets for Bi-annual is declared but result is awaiting this are inequitable with the expectations of these students and administration must take care of this. He said this will not be tolerated and NSF is going to start agitation in this regard.
Among those who were present in the protest included, Ravi Choudhary, Sukdev Singh, Balveer Kumar, Sunil Kumar, Parshotam, Ankit Raina, Pardeep, Mukesh Sharma, and others.
