Police open Darbar: Bali solicits views for streamlining Telecom

JAMMU, OCTOBER 04 – On the concluding day of annual inspection of Zonal Police Telecom Headquarters, the Director Police Telecom Mr. A.S. Bali today held an open darbar to solicit the views of the Telecom officers and officials to further streamline the functioning of the vital Police wing.
During the Darbar, the director sought the suggestions of the senior functionaries for further improvisation in the working of the department, particularly ahead of the shifting of Civil Secretariat to the winter capital of the state. He also listened to the genuine demands of the staff and issued necessary direction for on the spot redressal of the same.
The Director Telecom issued directions for sorting out the problems faced to the staff working at various levels on priority not only to streamline the functioning of the department but also to evolve a congenial working atmosphere.
Mr. Bali asked the personnel of the Telecom wing to be prepared for any Law and Order duties which could be assigned to them. He said that Telecom wing forms an important part of the Police organization and as such contributes essentially towards every nuance of Law and Order.
The Director Telecom also gave a patient hearing to the problems projected by officers of various ranks and file and assured them that these would be redressed in a time bound manner.
Among others, present on the occasion were Senior Superintendent of Police Telecom, Jammu Zone, S Bhupinder Singh, S P Telecom ACS Jammu S.D.P. Singh and G.O’s of Police Telecom Jammu.
