JKNPP members walk out from Assembly | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT SRINAGAR, Oct 4:Members of the Jammu Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) today staged a walkout from the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly alleging that they could not ask a single question during the session which started from September 26. Leader of the JKNPP in the House Harsh Dev Singh said that the time of the entire session was wasted due to protests by the Congress and National Conference (NC). "Not a single question of mine or party members was taken up in the house and there was no question of asking any supplementary", he said. He said the government was insensitive to the house as they would have allowed discussion on the adjournment motion of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on the mysterious death of Syed Mohammad Yousuf Shah, a NC activist. The speaker was conducting the business when nothing was being heard by any member in the House. The NPP members later walked out from the House. However, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) members alleged that it was a conspiracy by NC and PDP not to allow discussion on any issue in the House.
