| Display Your Talent at JU | | GCW Parade wins group song competition | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 4:The team from Govt. College for Women, Parade, bagged the First Prize in Group Song Indian Competition organized by the Department of Students Welfare, University of Jammu under the on going “Display Your Talent” 2011-12.
The team from Govt. College for Women, Gandhi Nagar and the team from Institute of Music and Fine Arts, Jammu, were adjudged as Second and Third, respectively.
The other participating teams included Govt. Degree College, Thannamandi, Shivalik College of Education, Udhampur, Trikuta Degree College, Govt. Degree College (Boys), Udhampur, Trikuta College of Computer Science & Management Studies and Kalra College of Education, Udhampur.
Mohan Mishra, Nand Kishore Pal and Balbir Beera, were the experts for this event.
Each team presented two group Ssngs, one patriotic and other a folk song.
Dr. Shallu Sehgal, was the Teacher Incharge and read the Rules and Regulations for the event.
Prof. N.K. Tripathi, Dean Students Welfare, University of Jammu, distributed the prizes amongst the winner teams.
