| Maitra villagers demands new bridge over river Chenab | | |

The residents of village Maitra in tehsil Ramban have demanded a construction of a new bridge over river Chenab, as present hanging bridge is very old and weak. There is every appreciation of an untoward incident.
This was disclosed in a Sangram Sena’s meeting hold here today under the chairmanship of Ram Rattan Raina, who had recently visited the area.
Raina said Govt. should take immediate steps to construct new bridge which connects village Maitra with Ramban which leads to the National Highway. He said during flood in river Chanab it becomes very risky for people to cross. He said upon the chief Minister to redress the genuine problem of the inhabitants.
Among this present in the meeting were Kunal Sharma, Ashok Puri, Yassor, Safid, Neelam, Kalu, Rakhi Kotwal, Karan Singh etc.
