| 50 lts illicit liquor recovered, two arrested | | |

In contribution of drive launched by the district police against the menace of selling of intoxicant drugs and illicit liquor police on tip-off arrested two persons namely Anoop Kumar s/o Jia Lal and Sajan Parihar s/o Romesh Parihar both residents of village Nagni, Kishtwar.
During the raid police recovered 50 lts of illicit liquor from their possession beside destroyed 200 lts Lahan on spot. Utensils used for extracting the liquor were also seized and both the accused were booked under Excise Act FIR No 2532/2006 stands registered in Kishtwar police station.
