| National coordinators YC visit Kishtwar, meet Congress leaders | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kishtwar, Oct 5: National coordinators of youth Congress visited mountainous district Kishtwar and called a meeting with the local Congress leaders and shared their views.
The meeting with the coordinators was attended by the Pardeep Singh Parihar President DCC Kishtwar, Sheikh Nasir Hussain Advocate former President DYC Kishtwar, Raj Kumar Badyal dist. President INTUC, youth Congress leaders Sandeep Sen, Ravi Kumar, Jalal-ud-Din and others.
In the meeting the local leaders apprised the coordinators about the ongoing membership drive and also demanded that the last date be extended keeping in view the topography and conditions of the area.
They also informed the coordinators that Rahul Gandhi’s policies are attracting people especially youth but due to shortage of time maximum membership can not be done.
The coordinators after listening to the Congress leaders assured that their demand will be projected before the high command however they made no commitment on spot.
