| Champions Trophy-2011 | | J&K Speedball Team wins runners up title | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 5:The state players excelled by winning nine medals including six golds in the national speed ball championship at New Delhi.
About 300 students from 6 states of participated in the event. The 12 member team from J&K participated under the supervision of the Sunny Nanda (Asian medallist in Kuwait) team manager was Supreet Kour and district coach Anil while Sachin, Mohd Bashir were also part of the support staff for the team.
J&K team wins runners up champion trophy while Delhi bagged first place while Andhra Pradesh stood 3rd .
The J&K state won 6 gold,1 silver & 2 bronze medals .the best super solo champion award was won by Mohd Majid student of new Modern Public School.
