| Navratra week celebrations concludes at INIFD | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Oct 5: With the blessing of Mata Vaishno Devi, INIFD celebrated Ram Navmi. The day was filled with colourful themes. All students participated according to the theme of colors. Students wore their own designs. The day was marked with the traditional Dandiya Dance Competition. All the 3 Houses – Versace, Armani & Channel participated, True display of designer dresses, well choreographed dance was presented.
The whole institute had a festive look, the budding designer were awarded for their designs, dance, choice of music and over all presentation. INIFD only emphasizes academics but on activities as above to polish students into well developed designers and human beings.
Armani house won the first prize in dance competition. Varun & Esha Talwar won the prize for best costume.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairperson Vanita Thakur congratulated the students and marked the occasion as an opportunity for students to present their talent and skills.
