To celebrate the birthday of Congress president and chairperson UPA Sonia Gandhi on December 9, a high level meeting of Congress committee office bearers was held under the chairmanship of Congress president, Peerzada Mohd Sayeed here today.
According to party hand out the district Congress committee presidents/block president of office bearers of the District Congress Committee, youth Congress, Mahila Congress, Congress Seva Dal, PCC Migrant Cell, H/R & Legal Cell and other frontal organizations have been asked to attend the said function in large number, and will pray for the long life.
Among others who attended today meeting were MLC Pradhuman Singh, Ysah Paul Khajuria. Th. Hari Singh, Om Chopra, MLA Mula Ram, Ravinder Sharma, Janak Raj Gupta, Baldev Sharma, Prakash Sharma.
Meanwhile, Ashok Kumar Gupta, Congress nominee for the post of president Municipal Council Udhampur, filed his nomination papers today. The election for the post of president and vice president of MC Udhampur is slated for 11th December the PCC spokesman stated here today. The post of vice president has been left for Panthers Party.
