| Citizens Forum demands dismissal of CM | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 6:President Citizens Forum and senior PDP leader RK Chadha has demanded dismissal of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and his govt and imposition of Governor’s rule in the state, to make the judicial probe into the mysterious death of NC activist Mohammad Yusaf, impartial.
Chadha said that with the Chief Minister in the chair and the government headed by him, any impartial enquiry into the alleged murder of Yusuf cannot be carried forward in a fair manner, since the CM’s direct role in the foul play is alleged.
Chadha has also demanded dropping of NC President Dr. Farooq Abdullah from the Union Cabinet until he comes clean of the allegations of ‘cash for ministerial berths and tickets for MLCs’ being allegedly sold for monetary gains. He has further demanded that a thorough probe should be held into all the cases of cross votings in the elections to the J&K Legislative Council and even allotment of tickets for the council to the undeserving persons.
The Citizen Forum has further flayed some senior members of ruling party taking pride in calling themselves as “Chamchas” of the Chief Minister. This is height of sycophancy on their part. It is a matter of shame for all the self respecting citizens to be ruled by the Chamchas of their political bosses.
