| Erratic power supply resented, CM’s intervention sought | | | BHADERWAH, DEC 7 The erratic power supply in Bhaderwah town has caused enormous problems to the people especially the traders who are forced to close their establishment with the sunset. The high-tech information service remains non- functional always due to frequent power shut down. The Community Information Center (CIC) at Bhadarwah has become defunct due to non availability of adequate power supply and as per the sources the Centre is getting electricity just for two to four hours on alternate days as a result the town has been cutoff from the outer world as it is the only communication link between the Bhaderwah town and rest of the country. The working Journalist Association, Bhadarwah also took strong note of non-availability of power and unscheduled power cuts at CIC Center. They alleged that due to non availability of adequate power supply, the scribes were facing difficulty in transmitting their reports and threatened to launch a stir if the supply position in the town was not improved on priority basis .The journalists have sought Chief Minister’s intervention with the hope that something would be done to ease the power problem in the town which has assumed importance in view of the Chief Minister having been elected from this constituency which is becoming hub of political activities.
