| Mankotia gets start work of Pittan Barh-Sui road | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR, Oct 6:MLA Udhampur Balwant Singh Mankotia got started the road works from Pittan Barh to Sui Village of Udhampur constituency. The total length of road is Two km and it will be completed with estimated cost of Rs 87 Lakh.
Mankotia told that the 1st Phase of this road project will be completed with shingle, mettle, drain and culverts with estimated cost of Rs 27 Lakh and around four thousand population will be benefited with the completion of this road project.
A large number of people of Panchayat Samble including Sarpanch Om Parkash & Panches were present on the occasion. Om Parkash Sarpanch of Panhyat Sambla said that people of village Sui are facing acute shortage of drinking water and unscheduled curtailment of power supply for the last more then ten months.
He also highlighted various development issues including installation of hand pumps, opening of Health Sub Centre and Pacca road up to SC Mohalla Sui.
While addressing the gathering Mankotia said that for the improvement of drinking water supply of Panchayat Samble and Chakhar, a water supply scheme with an estimated cost of Rs 2.95 crore has already being in progress and will be completed shortly adding that with the completion of this water supply scheme the people of Sui, Samble, Chakhar will be benefited .
