| uv appoints Sudesh, Ahmad as SICs | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, Oct 7 : N. N. Vohra, Governor, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him under Section 12 (3) of the Jammu and Kashmir Right to Information Act, 2009, has appointed Dr. Sudesh Kumar Sharma (former Dean, Law Faculty, University of Jammu) and Nazir Ahmed (Chief Engineer, R&B) as State Information Commissioners in the State Information Commission (SIC).
The Governor approved the appointment of Dr. Sudesh Kumar Sharma and Nazir Ahmed today on the recommendations of the Selection Committee set up for the purpose.
Now as the SIC has been fully constituted, the Governor hoped that its effective functioning would, soon enough, start having a salutary impact on the functioning of the administrative machinery.
