| Power shutdown | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, OCTOBER 07- In order to carry out the branch cutting and general maintenance of 33 KV Janipur-News Secretariat Line, the Power supply to the Kachi Chawni, Dogra Hall, Indira Chowk, Bus Stand, Part of Jewal Chowk, Raghunath Bazar, Shalamar Chowk, Kanak Mandi, Part of Rehari, B. C. Road, Resham Ghar Colony and adjoining areas fed from 33 KV Janipur-New Secretariat Line shall remain affected on 09-10-2011 from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m.
During the shutdown period the essential feeders PHE Parade, MLA Hostel, Telephone Exchange and SMGS Hospital Shall be run from 33 KV Company Bagh-New Secretariat Line.
Meanwhile to carry out rectification of all leakage problem at OLTC of the transformer of 31.5 MVA, 132/11 KV transformer of grid station Bari-Brahmana-I, the power supply to the areas of Kalu Chak, some areas of Bari-Brahmana town, BB-6 feeder, Bari-Brashmana town, Saror Adda, 11 KV Birpur Complex shall be affected on October 9, 2011 from 6 a m to 2 p m.
According to the Superintending Engineer, Elect. Maintt & RE Circle-1, Jammu the shutdown is subject to fair weather conditions.
