| Infiltration bid foiled, intruder killed | | |

An infiltration bid was foiled today with the elimination of an ultra who was attempting to infiltrate through heavily wooded area in Rajouri sector this morning.
A Defence spokesman said that the troops foiled an infiltration attempt in Rajouri sector and despite poor visibility, the alert forces neutralized one terrorist attempting to infiltrate this side of the border during wee hours today.
The body of the slain terrorist was later recovered and one AK rifle, one Pistol and some two Chinese hand grenades, one Kenwood Radio set and warlike stores from the possession of the slain militant.
