| Hakim for transparent probe into custodial death allegation | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu,Oct 7:
PDF chairman and MLA Khan Sahib, Hakim Mohammad Yasin has reiterated his demand for credible and transparent probe in the alleged custodial death of National Conference worker Syed Mohammad Yusuf to bring facts to fore.
In a statement issued here today, he said nobody is above law. Rule of law which is essence of liberal democratic system is binding on every citizen irrespective of his political stature and administrative clout.
Meanwhile, Hakim Yasin has strongly refuted the remarks attributed to him in a section of press about imposing governor’s rule in the State. He said, he neither has advocated governor’s rule nor is such an arrangement justified in the present socio-political scenario in the State.
