| DPS organizes 'Hindi Recitation Competition' | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Oct 7: Delhi Public School Jammu organized a 'Hindi Recitation Competition' for class Nursery in the Pre- Primary Wing of the school. In the said competition 43 students took part very enthusiastically.
Recha Gupta judged the contestants of Hindi Recitation competition. She was awestruck by wonderful recitations of children with proper intonation, flow, clarity and modulation of voice and expression. After hearing all the competitors, the judge for the event declared six toppers in the above said event as detailed below, Divyansh Manhas and Rasab Khan stood first, Mohd. Rehan and Nityam Sehdev were adjudged second, while KareenaDhar and Avika Gandotra stood third.
Speaking on the occasion, the Principal Sudarshan Sonar who graced the occasion had encouraging words for the participants (tiny toddlers). He also expressed that such competitions are organized in the school on regular basis mainly for the purpose of enhancing the recitation, poetic skill and competitive habit
The above winners were also awarded by the Principal.
