| College student’s union held election at SPMR | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, October 7: College student’s union election was held at SPMR College of commerce, Jammu under the supervision of police administration and college administration including college Principal and college staff.
Police administration employed a large number of police personals who stressed on the identity of the students so that no outsiders can enter the college campus. In the first stage students of various classes elected their representatives there were total 50 CRs elected.
For the post of president two candidates, Akash Sharma and Ishan choudhary were competing the election. Ishan Choudhary was contesting under the name of National Panthers Students Union (NPSU). Akash Sharma got 23 CRs while Ishan Choudhary got 27 CRs. Ishan Choudhary won the post of president by 4Crs.
Meshesh Bakshi of NPSU won the post of college of General secretary Meshesh Bakshi got 20CRs, Abtar Singh got 13CRs, Nitesh got 12CRs and the rest got one CRs each.
For the post of college Joint Secretary two girls were contesting. Anjli Choudhary of NPSU defeat Rishika and Mohit Arora of NPSU was unanimously elected as second Joint Secretary.
For the post of college Vice president there were two contestants. Paramveer Singh of NPSU defeats Dhaman. For the post of second vice president there were two contestants, Ankit Gupta of NPSU defeated Ankush by 6CRs.
After this the celebration for the clean sweep by NPSU for every post was held by the college students along with NPSU activists.
Addressing the gathering Mr. Ishan Choudhary thanked the college students and said that this victory belong to students who showed their support for NPSU. And assured the students that he will fight for the cause of the students.
