| GCW organizes awareness on Gharana | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, October 7: On the eve of Wildlife Week, Government College for Women Gandhi Nagar in collaboration with Udaan International, a wildlife Organisation has organized one day programme on Gharana birds to aware the students community in the shape of photo exhibition in the college premises on October 7.Nalini Kohli ,Principal of this college inaugurated this programme. On this occasion HoD Botany Dr. Sangita Nagari , others teachers and students were also presented. 110 pictures highlighting the migratory birds, present conditions and dispute of this wetland, were displayed in different manner .
Student took keen interest to understand the importance of this place where every years thousand birds come to pass their winter.
While addressing, Nalini Kohli Principal of this college, appreciated the work of Guldev Raj, done in odd circumstances and has presented in a beautiful way which the students missed so far.
Ist year student Satinder Kour said that this wetland is shrinking slow pace, need involve of local people in the wetland development programme.
