| Workshop to enhance teaching of mathematics held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Oct 8: As a commitment to empower the teachers by providing them with varied learning opportunities, Banyan International School organized a workshop to enhance the teaching skills required for teaching Mathematics effectively.
The workshop was conducted by a renowned academician S.N. Chibber who is a subject expert associated with CBSE.
He has held a prestigious appointment in Directorate of Education, New Delhi & is also a member of subject drafting committee for NCERT & SCERT.
Chibber highlighted the need to reinvent the teaching of mathematics to ensure better understanding by relating Maths to our lives.
The workshop also apprised the teachers about the latest techniques and approaches as suggested by the CBSE.
It concluded on an extremely positive note where the teachers shared their experiences and tried to find solutions to the challenges involved. The workshop was extremely inspiring, empowering and will prove to be productive.
