Vinod Pandit’s indefinite hunger strike enters 2nd day
Women leader joins indefinite hunger strike; DLF extends support

Jammu, Oct 8: The indefinite hunger strike of Vinod Pandit, chairman, All Parties Migrant Coordination Committee and supported by several Dogra and Kashmiri organizations entered second day today while a rural women leader joined him in indefinite hunger strike at Press Club of Jammu and Dogra Liberation Front extending its full support to the cause.
Sunita Sharma, president, Rural Women Foundation who had extended her organizations support to APMCC lead indefinite hunger strike yesterday has also joined in indefinite hunger strike along with Vinod Pandit while Ram Pal Sharma, Dogra Liberation Front today extended his organizations full support to the cause in support of the 6-point charter of demands.
Meanwhile Vinod Pandits indefinite hunger strike continues for the last 36 hours with support swelling in his favour from all quarters with Delhi Unit of APMCC as well as other units in Jhaharkhand etc all set to observe token strikes at respective states in support of the 6-point charter of demands.
Swarn Singh Slathia, incharge Dharmarth Trust Sudhar Samiti, Utterbeni, Block Purmandal alongwith his volunteers and hundreds of other volunteers of several Dogra and Kashmiri Hindu organizations again converged at Press Club of Jammu today as a show of solidarity with the APMCC cause.
Prominent among those who attended the indefinite hunger strike today include Swami Achyutanand Saraswati of Reky Sewa Sanstahn, Naval Garh Rajasthan, Ram Pal Sharma, President Dogra Liberation Front (DLF), Swarn Singh Salathia, Incharge Dharmarth Trust Sudhar Samiti,Utterbeni, Block Purmandal, Subash Gupta, President and Thakur Karnail Chand, Gen Secy Dharmarth Trust Sudhar Sangarsh Samiti, Preetam Sharma, Gen Secy J&K Kranti Dal, Rajiv Mahajan, State President Sri Ram Sena, Vikas Deewan, Gen Secy and Vikrant Kapoor, vice president Shiv Sena Hindustan, Vaid Gandotra, President Freedom Fighters Association, Harbans Choudhry, Gen Secy Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS), BL Gupta, Gen Secy, Peoples Democratic Front (PDF), advocate Arun Kandroo, gen secy APMCC, Sandeep Bhat, Kashmir Incharge APMCC, Sunita Sharma, president Rural Women Foundation and Nirmal Rattan, gen secy National Federation of Indian Women,
The leaders who attended the hunger strike also spoke on the occasion pledging their full support to Vinod Pandit for his struggle to extract the time frame assurance from the government to take up the six-point charter of demands of APMCC which concern the whole Hindu community of J&K as well as rest of India.
