| MLC inaugurates army camp by BSF | | |  Early Times Report
KATHUA, October 8: MLC Subash Gupta inaugurated one day medical camp organized by 68 Bn of BSF at Government Primary School at village Chhan Tanda at Hiranagar .
DIG Virender Singh, SHQ, Samba , Commandant 68 Bn BSF Nirman Singh Ohjal, a large number of people from village Chhan Tanda and adjoining villages were also present during the camp.
During the camp free medical check ups of number of people was conducted by the doctors and free medicines were also distributed.
Speaking on the occasion MLC Subash Gupta appreciated the effort of BSF for organizing medical camp.
On the occasion DIG Varinder Singh disclosed that boundary wall work of the Government High School will be completed by the BSF authorities under Border Area Development Programme funds. During the camp BSF also donated books to five schools falling under border zone.
Later MLC Subash Gupta also inaugurated the final volleyball match between Govt. High School, Chakda and Govt High School, Marheen teams in which Chakda team won the match.
Prizes were also distributed among the winner and runner’s up teams..
