| Naib Sarpanch Marwah joins Congress | | Rahul Gandhi’s policies attracting young people: Sheikh Nasir | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kishtwar, Oct 9: Naib Sarpanch of a remote Panchayat Nowpachi of Marwah area, Mohammad Hussain Akhoon joined Congress in presence of prominent Congress leader and former district president Youth Congress Sheikh Nasir Hussain. Welcoming Akhoon into party folds, Sheikh Nasir said, our aim is to strengthen the party in this mountainous district.
We want to include young and visionary people. He further said that the programmes and policies of the party and its icon Rahul Gandhi are attracting young people towards the party.
While speaking on this occasion new entrant Naib Sarpanch Mohd Hussain Akhoon expressed faith in the programmes and policies of Congress party and appreciated the efforts and working of young leader Sheikh Nasir.
He said that he will leave no stone unturned in strengthening party in Marwah area.
Besides others, formers Dist President NSUI Yassir Rashid Lone, Sandeep Sen Advocate, Jalal-ud-din, Tousif Iqbal Butt, Ajay Kumar and various youth Congress activists were also present on this occasion.
