| Nirvana Academy organizes ‘Lets dance 2011’ | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Oct 9: Nirvana Academy organized “Lets Dance 2011 J&K Dance Award Show” at Abhinav Theatre Jammu.
Sham Lal MLA Suchetgarh constituency, R.S Pura was the chief guest while Suram Singh District President PDP, Satvinder Saini, Vijay Gupta and Hitesh Badyal president Nirvana Academy was the guest of honour on the occasion.
Programme started with lamp lighting and Saraswati Vandana by Baba Bodh Raj ji and followed by a classical dance performance by the young artist of SKK Rhythm Galaxy Dance institute R.S Pura.
President Nirvana Academy told on the occasion that Nirvana Academy organized these kind of shows to provide platform to the young artists and school going children.
He further added that in this competition participants not only from Jammu city but from border area and other cities took part.
More than 50 participants participated in junior and senior category.
Show was choreographed by noted choreographer S.L Taneja (Sonu).
Taneja had organized and choreographed such programme/competitions earlier also and succeeded in bringing and all such type of talented and budding artist under one umbrella.
Audience including parents of the participant enjoyed the programme which was compared by Deepak Dutta Sanam and Ram Kumar.
Programme was adjudged by the guest judge Shyni James (Praavan Arts Shiva Natyam Club Trivandram ), Micheal Atul from Patiala and Prakash from Aryan Dance Institute Ludhiana.
S.L Taneja presented vote of thanks. He thanked all the participants, their parents, chief guest, guest of honour, judges, media persons and other dignitaries who made the event a wonderful cause and he promised that with the help of Nirvana Academy he will continue working for art and culture.
Others who were presented on the occasion were Neeraj Sharma (vice president NA), Meenakshi Sharma (general secretary NA), Nishant Vaid (publicity secretary NA), Sunil Kumar director unique dancing institute and Dolly.
