| Sant Nirankari Mandal organized blood donation camp | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, October 9: Sant Nirankari Mandal Organized a 7th Blood Donation Camp of year in J&K on October 9 at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Kathua.
This camp was organized in the sweet memory of Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji Maharaj who sacrificed his life for truth and humanity.
Since then Nirankari mission organizes blood donation camps every year all across the world to spread the message that “Human blood should flow in human veins and not in drains”.
The camp was inaugurated by Zahida Khan, deputy commissioner Kathua. Speaking on the occasions she appreciated the step. A total of 152 units were donated by the donors.
The camp was held in collaboration with blood transfusion department of Government Medical College, Jammu under the supervision of Dr T R Raina and District hospital Kathua under Dr Anoop Manha.
