Servant goes missing with 2 sons of Raghunath Bazar businessman; kidnapping suspected | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 9: Two minor sons of a Raghunath Bazar businessman today went missing under mysterious circumstances along with their Nepali servant from their residence at Nanak Nagar here. Though police suspected that it could be a case of kidnapping, family had not received any call for ransom till late tonight. Kartik Sharma (13) and Dhruv Sharma (11), sons of Jitender Sharma, left home in sector 6 of Nanak Nagar for their plot, about 100 yards from their residence, at about 7 am. Their servant Dheeraj Joshi, son of Ganesh Joshi of Nepal, was accompanying them. The family came to know at about 9.30 am that none of them had reached the plot. They then searched for them in the locality. When they found no trace of them, they lodged a report with Gandhi Nagar police station. Both Kartik and Dhruv are students of SD Tarapuri School. While Karik studies in 6th class, Dhruv is a 4th standard student. Jitender is a wholesale dealer of watches at Raghunath Bazar. When contacted, Jitender said they had not received any call for ransom till late tonight. He had engaged Joshi as domestic servant about an year back. A senior police officer said though all the checking points on the Jammu-Lakhanpur road stretch had been alerted, there was no clue to the whereabouts of the two missing brothers and their servant. |
